Job description
We are looking for a Quality Controller to enforce our Quality Team.
About the Team
We are a part of the Operations Team and our main goal is to ensure that all quality standards are met. We therefore monitor, analyze and verify processes and products.
We ensure compliance with technical standards, law regulations and our requirements. We identify issues by detecting defects or inconsistencies at the early stage, preventing larger problems. We propose corrective actions and process improvements at different stages - from raw materials used in production to finished products delivered to the client.
Once you join our Team you will be responsible for:
Verifying production readiness in terms of materials and processes after implementation tests.
Validating the correct application of production processes after the Batch 0 production series is accepted.
Inspecting special-order products and deciding on their acceptance.
Inspecting finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
Controlling the quality of raw materials for production in accordance with Tylko’s standards and making decisions regarding their acceptance or rejection.
Verifying factory processes and standards to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
Implementation and improvement of production procedures and processes in collaboration with factory representatives
Providing data for the Quality Book to track and document quality standards.
Managing the Golden Sample process, including describing, sealing, sorting, registering, and storing samples.
Creating and managing Silver Samples for factories, ensuring proper sealing, registration, and delivery.
To achieve your goals you will cooperate closely with factories and subcontractors, as well as with internal teams (production, logistics, maintenance, sourcing, client service, etc.)

Job requirements
To work effectively in this role, it is important that you:
Have general technological sense and engineering mindset
Have previous experience in the furniture industry (ideally) or other industry with high standards of safety, durability, aesthetics, etc. (e.g. automotive)
Know quality tools such as Ishikawa diagram, FMEA, 5 why
Have driver's license category B
Take full ownership of the topic given and remain focused on achieving the goal
Are detail-oriented, but at the same time understand the broader context
Are able to cooperate with different people and maintain good relationships; you listen to the opinions of others, gather information, and seek optimal solutions for all parties involved
Have strong analytical thinking (understand data and what stand behind them)
Have working knowledge of MS Office (inc. Excel)
Speak both Polish (primarily used) and English
Are open to business trips approx. 3 days per week (onsite visits to the production facilities, suppliers, etc.) and working in our Warsaw office on the remaining days
