Job description

We are looking for a Product Development Engineer who will join the Team responsible for developing and improving existing furniture product lines. The role gives a unique opportunity to enhance and optimize products already loved by customers, ensuring their quality, functionality, and competitiveness in the market.

About Product Department

Product is our most diverse team in terms of expertise from digital designers and software developers to wood technologists and industrial and interior designers. The department is divided into cross-functional product teams, combining expertise in product management, design and engineering to drive innovation and deliver integrated products. The department is responsible for delivering business results through the development and management of the product portfolio, supporting company-level activities, and coordinating the development of integrated physical and digital products, ensuring a consistent user experience.

In the role of a Product Development Engineer we expect that you will:

  • Develop and enhance existing furniture products that meet customer expectations

  • Improve functionality, quality, and manufacturability of products within current product lines

  • Translate design updates into feasible, efficient, and production-ready solutions

  • Collaborate closely with design, production, and engineering teams to optimize products

  • Support continuous product improvement initiatives across the portfolio

Once you join the Team, you will be responsible for:

  • Implementing and testing improvements to existing product solutions, ensuring quality and functionality

  • Evaluating and optimizing technical solutions and production technologies for current products

  • Supporting the development and update of technical and technological solutions to enhance existing lines

  • Developing and implementing production technologies that improve efficiency and maintain product quality

  • Sourcing new materials, fittings, and subcontractors to meet project requirements

  • Preparing preliminary quotations and cost estimates in collaboration with suppliers and subcontractors

  • Coordinating prototype production and qualitative evaluation to ensure successful implementation of improved solutions

  • Conducting regular business travel using company vehicles

Job requirements

What we’re looking for:

  • Knowledge of product development from design to final product

  • 2–5 years of experience in the furniture industry (e.g. in production or product development)

  • Strong understanding of furniture construction techniques and fittings

  • Proficiency in 3D design/construction programs (SolidWorks, Rhino)

  • Ability to create production documentation and technical drawings

  • Experience in calculations of static furniture structures and strong joints

  • Knowledge of developing details made using technologies such as aluminum, injection and extrusion, light alloys and cast-iron casting, plastic injection, machining (milling, turning), and sheet metal bending

  • University degree (preferably Wood Technology, Architecture, Industrial Design, Material Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, etc.)

  • Fluent Polish and good English (min. B2)

  • Driving license (cat. B)

  • Working from our Warsaw office (remote occasionally possible)
