About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Head of People who will help us take Tylko’s culture, leadership and people systems to the next level.

Your mission: to build a high-trust, high-performance culture, ensure strong leader–team relationships, stabilise retention and hiring quality (talent density), and design human-first processes that scale with the business.

You’ll report directly to the C-level executive and lead a small but mighty team of several HR professionals.

This is a role for someone who combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution, loves both people and data, and thrives in a fast-paced, product-oriented environment.

Once you join our Team you will be responsible for:

People Strategy & Structure

  • Designing and implementing our People strategy aligned with business goals.

  • Managing the headcount plan and compensation budget.

  • Co-creating organisational structure, roles, successors and talent maps.

Total Rewards

  • Building fair, transparent and values-driven reward frameworks.

  • Ensuring pay equity and consistency with company values.

People Operations / HRIS

  • Driving “human-first” policies and simple, efficient HR processes.

  • Overseeing onboarding/offboarding, documentation and compliance (GDPR, SLA).

  • Managing HR systems (HRIS, ATS) and process design.

People Analytics

  • Developing and monitoring key people metrics – culture, engagement, trust, retention.

  • Preparing management reports and insights for the Board.

Talent Acquisition

  • Overseeing all hiring processes to ensure quality and speed.

  • Leading Employer Branding and recruitment process excellence (SLA, candidate experience).

Leadership, Performance & Development

  • Running the performance cycle and feedback processes.

  • Building leadership capability and supporting managerial development.

Employee Relations

  • Managing employee relations and legal risk.

  • Handling complex cases, mediations and disciplinary processes.

Culture, Communication & Wellbeing

  • Championing culture-building initiatives, DEI, wellbeing and internal communication.

Job requirements

  • 7–10 years of experience in HR, including 3+ years in a Head or Lead role in a 150–500 FTE organisation

  • Proven experience in product tech or e-commerce, with comparable pace and complexity

  • Strong understanding of Polish labour law and experience managing multi-country operations in the EU

  • Hands-on experience running performance and compensation cycles end-to-end

  • Proven track record of implementing ATS and HRIS systems and designing HR processes

  • Solid people analytics skills, fluent in working with data (advanced Excel/Sheets)

  • Fluent English (C1) and Polish (spoken and written)

  • High business maturity and the ability to partner effectively with executives

  • A change leader mindset – someone who can connect strategy with empathy and action

  • Working from our Warsaw office 3 days a week
