Business Intelligence Engineer

Tylko is a multi award-winning start-up on a mission to digitise the furniture industry by bringing customised furniture effortlessly to everyone.


We need a rock solid Business Intelligence Engineer to help us expand our Big Data infrastructure. Together with our Business Intelligence team, you'll build up our BI department and craft our reporting system into one as stable and reliable as the furniture we make. 
This role is perfect for a savvy self-starter who enjoys being in the thick of things, exploring exciting new opportunities and finding new ways to help solve business issues from an analytical point of view.


Your tasks:


  • You'll be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining a business-facing data warehouse that will support our company's commitment to analytics, as well as our data-driven business philosophy.
  • You'll create and monitor daily ETL tasks and data sync processes for cleaning and structuring data.
  • You'll connect data sources (e.g. Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Adjust, Facebook- and Google Adwords-APIs) with our data warehouse (Redshift).
  • You'll design and build healthy, scalable architecture for real-time and batch data processing.
  • You'll proactively come up with suggestions on how the team can leverage new technologies and architectures to improve the data platform and implement new methodologies to improve the team performance.
