About the role
We’re looking for a motivated and curious Intern to join our BI & Controlling Team at Tylko. This is a great opportunity for a student who wants to gain practical experience in business intelligence, controlling, and data-driven decision making.

As a BI / Controlling Intern, you will play a key role in supporting our Weekly Business Steering (WBS) process. Together with our team, you will help transform data into meaningful reports that guide company-wide decisions. At the beginning, this will mostly mean preparing charts and reports in Google Sheets, but as you grow, you’ll have the chance to learn SQL, explore Google BigQuery, and contribute to improving our reporting tools.

About the Team
Our team is part of the Finance Department, but our scope reaches across the entire company. We partner with Product, Operations, Marketing, E-commerce, and Manufacturing to ensure that every decision is backed by data.

We own Tylko’s data warehouse and reporting tools, and we’re currently building the framework for company-wide Weekly Business Reviews. By joining us, you’ll gain first-hand experience in how data translates into strategic insights and how finance acts as a true business partner across the organization.

Once you join our Team you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the preparation of reports and charts for Weekly Business Review (mainly in Google Sheets)

  • Assisting in validating and improving the quality of existing reports based on Google BigQuery

  • Learning and applying SQL basics (with support from the team) to work with our data warehouse

  • Collaborating with Analysts and Controllers to deliver meaningful insights for business stakeholders

  • Exploring opportunities to automate manual reporting processes

  • Understand and apply the principles of Weekly Business Review (WBR)

  • Use Google BigQuery and SQL to prepare datasets for reporting

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and translate numbers into insights

Job requirements

  • Ongoing studies in Economics, Finance, Business Analytics, Data Science, or related fields

  • Basic knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets

  • Curiosity and eagerness to learn – especially in SQL, data, and BI tools

  • A proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership of tasks

  • Fluent Polish and a good command of English

  • Availability to work part-time from our Warsaw office (min. 2–3 days per week)

It would be an additional plus if you have:

  • Familiarity with SQL basics

  • Experience with Power Query, advanced functions in Google Sheets, or Looker Studio

  • An interest in data visualization and process automation
